We are excited to update you on our progress with the new Baptist Crittenden hospital. We’ve finished the ground work and continue to move forward. By the fall of 2018, we will be putting the finishing touches on the hospital, which is set to open in January 2019.

The new facility will feature:
- 11 hospital rooms
- 10 emergency department patient rooms
- 8-chair cancer and infusion center
- 2 operating rooms
- 1 endoscopy suite
- CT, MRI, mammography, and nuclear medicine
In 2018, we will begin hiring our Baptist Crittenden team with a focus on recruiting local talent. Supporting the local economy is an important part of our mission. We also look forward to talking to local health care professionals who have previously served Crittenden County patients and families and who share our Baptist mission.
Before we designed the hospital, we considered how best to meet our patients’ needs. Across the country and here at home, more care is happening on an outpatient basis. While the hospital will offer beds for inpatient acute care, we are also building to meet the growing outpatient needs. With this hospital, we can provide local care without families ever having to leave the county.
