Baptist Memorial Health Care is excited to share the progress being made at the construction site for the new Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi. Located at 1100 Belk Boulevard in Oxford, the foundation should be poured soon and the structure will begin to rise this summer.
The aerial photo shown here was taken in early April and gives a bird’s-eye view of the activity that is underway. The groundbreaking for this new facility occurred on October 29th, 2014.
The new five-story hospital will be 602,831 square feet. It will feature 217 beds with additional comprehensive medical and surgical services. The emergency department will be expanded to more than 25,000 square feet with 35 rooms. This new hospital campus represents the single largest economic development in the history of Oxford and Lafayette County.
