Practice Mindfulness While Running
It’s time to think about meditation or mindfulness in relationship to movement, especially running. But in fact, the act of being mindful creates intentional awareness during an act or moment.
Running offers an ideal time to process emotional, spiritual and mental well-being—or perhaps lack of. While the obvious goal of improving fitness or reaching a goal always exists for a dedicated runner, this time can also offer a moment to appreciate your accomplishments and your body’s ability. Take a moment before lacing up to ask, “What am I running for?” and be mindful of the response and now you take on the open road.
